Introduction :
Siddh's Academy is a Pune based Quality Training Institute for GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, SAT and IELTS. It is a part of Sunrise Group of Companies headed by Mr. Uday Mehta. The objective of our Institute is to provide excellent quality education through modern teaching methodologies.

The Challenge :
Unlike conventional methods of classroom teaching where the focus is placed on a large group rather than on an individual, we provide personalized coaching and individual attention to all the students. Since, GRE is now a Computer-Based Test ergo, familiarity with computers has a major say in the final outcome of the students' performance. And it is a recognized fact that a majority of the students find themselves stumped when faced with the actual Computer based GRE. At Siddh's Academy we eliminate this problem at the root by training the students on our uniquely designed Diagnostic Software from the very first day. We also maintain a performance record of every student who joins our Institute.

The Solution :
The main forte of the teaching process lies in the use of a unique multidimensional package "DoctorGRE" which will monitor the preparation level of each student. In addition to this, the student will be invited to visit a 'Reading Comprehension Lab'. Based on our interaction with the students we have realized that a monstrous problem that students confront is their inability to match the reading speed on screen to their speed while reading from the paper. In view of this we have come up with an innovative software viz. R.C. Lab that not only helps the student increase his reading speed but also enhance his level of comprehension.

GRE CBT Diagnostic Software :
Siddh's Academy boasts of indigenously designed GRE Software, which gives feedback to the students and also maintains their performance record. The software is the brainchild of Mr. Uday Mehta. Being an erudite person himself he saw the need to help out the students with state-of the-art teaching methodology. The software doesn't attempt to desecrate the sanctity of classroom teaching. Instead, the software makes an earnest attempt to fortify the age-old chalk and talk teaching method by aiding the teacher as well as the student during the classroom session. The uniqueness of the software lies in its ability to trace the weakness of a student in a subject / topic at the micro level. For instance, within the Quantitative Section, the student can find the gray area in a topic like ratio & proportion and practice more and more questions thereof. The software also keeps track of the time taken to answer each question in order to help the student gain a sound understanding of how to pace during the examination. The software also incorporates the newly introduced Analytical Writing Section. The views of the student on the Issue or the Argument topics is then evaluated by two readers as against certain attributes viz. cogency, relevance, grammar, vocabulary etc. DoctorGRE software is a distributed application. It helps the administrator to monitor the users of the application at any point of time. It also doesn't let any student to go through the progress chart of any other student. Only the teacher or the instructor has the access to the progress record of all the students. The software also enables the teacher to prepare a file consisting of questions from any topic of his choice and throw them to the students.
